Chad Smith (born October 25, 1961) is best known as being the longtime and current drummer of Red Hot Chili Peppers. He is also the drummer of the hard rock band Chickenfoot and the instrumental band Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats.

Wolfmother hard rock band from Australia


Formed in Erskineville, Sydney in 2000, Wolfmother are an Australian hard rock band originally a trio comprising vocalist and guitarist Andrew Stockdale, bassist and keyboardist Chris Ross and drummer Myles Heskett, the band released their debut self-titled album in October 2005, which reached number three on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart.

Chickenfoot American hard rock supergroup


Chickenfoot comprising ex-Van Halen members Sammy Hagar (vocals) and Michael Anthony (bass), solo musician Joe Satriani (guitar) and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. The band released their self-titled debut album, Chickenfoot, on June 5, 2009. Regarding the band's status as a "supergroup", vocalist Sammy Hagar states: "We’re not a supergroup, we like hanging out together and the music is a bonus. We just happen to be in other groups.

John Paul Jones the legendary multi instrumentalist musician





John Paul Jones (born John Baldwin on 3 January 1946) is an English multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, arranger and record producer.

Best known as the bassist, mandolinist, and keyboardist for English rock band Led Zeppelin, Jones has since developed a solo career and has gained even more respect as both a musician and a producer. A versatile musician, Jones also plays guitar, koto, lap steel guitars, autoharp, ukulele, sitar, cello, continuum and the three over-dubbed recorder parts heard on Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven".

According to Allmusic, Jones "has left his mark on rock & roll music history as an innovative musician, arranger, and director." Many rock bassists have been influenced by John Paul Jones including Geddy Lee, Geezer Butler, Gene Simmons, and Krist Novoselic.
